These little girls are enjoying their new dolls! These dolls originated with a group of ladies in the United States that find them at garage sales, clean them, dress them, and bring or ship them overseas. These particular dolls could possibly be one of the nicest gifts these little girls have ever received.
We spent a Saturday helping one of our friends who works with these children and their mothers, most of whom work in a redlight district.
First, help us in praying for deliverance for these kids from seeing and being a part of a horrible lifestyle. Then, pray for their real need, which is to know Jesus. Pray for the outreach that is attempting to teach their mothers other ways of providing income.
The most important and most valuable gift that is worthy of both giving and receiving is the gift to us from God... of Christ Jesus in flesh - come to take our place, and thus our sins. How is your giving reflecting that fact this Christmas?
