Playtime in the neighborhood!

So proud of our little girl on this particular day!  We were walking through our neighbood and she saw these local boys from our next-door 'village' that had made their way over to our neighborhood.  She said "let's go play with them!"

We had something else in mind and said "baby, we were headed the other direction to talk to someone"...

And she replied "but we could go over and talk to them about Jesus.  They need to know about Jesus, right?  Go get your 'strings' (for my string gospel presentations)..."

Ha Ha... so, we ended up changing our plans and heading over for a fun time.  They had taken a broken piece of board, poured water/mud on it to make it slicker, and were having a grand time.  Both girls ended up playing and getting thoroughly muddy. Hopefully earning us the right to talk more with these boys later.  The boys were super respectful and while our girls went down their first few times, they all waited on the side for them to finish!  ha!

We have actually found this on many playgrounds... once the bulehs (white people) show up, everyone moves to another piece of equipment... but slowly people are warming up to us!
