We praise the Lord we finally heard back from the consulate! They are requiring additional information - but we are just so glad to hear something. Weeks in 'the dark' had begun to work a bit of uncertainty and depression into our psyche. Being able to research and provide information makes us feel productive... even if it was just to send some emails and receive some emails. We hope this additional information allows them to complete the processing of our visas.

In the mean-time we are filling our time productively. We took our girls fishing a couple of days (spending some time with family while we were there) and have also been able to spend some time with brothers and sisters in the Lord and share the vision of providing everyone in the world with an opportunity to respond to the Gospel (especially, for us, those individuals in South Asia). We've had a great time fellowshipping with friends, family, brothers, sisters - everyone!
Finally - what else would you like to add a schedule that involves packing and preparing one's mind to move overseas? How about jury duty? I spent most of today down at the county courthouse providing the means for many civil and criminal cases to to be settled out of court. I called weeks ago and told them I could be out of the country this week - and they told me if I was in-country they expected me to be there... so I am dutifully fulfilling my civic duty. I have wondered if the only thing we need to do to get visas is for me to get selected for a long jury stint. Ha!
